The valediction ceremony was graced by Inspector General of Prisons and Correctional Services, Andhra Pradesh, Indla Sreenivasa Rao. In his address, the IG emphasised the critical importance of anticipatory leadership, emotional resilience, and lawful use of authority in managing custodial emergencies. He highlighted that prison leadership must balance firmness with reformative orientation, especially during volatile situations such as riots. He appreciated the active participation of officers and commended the organising team for successfully conducting the programme.
