Charaka, a women’s multipurpose industrial cooperative society located at Bhimanakone in Sagar taluk, has organised a three-day exhibition and sale of naturally dyed cotton handloom and handmade products at Karnataka Sangha on B.H. Road in Shivamogga from January 17. In a press release issued on January 12, the organisation said that the exhibition-cum-sale of products will be between 10 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on all three days. The exhibition includes eight stalls, including those from Gajendragada of Gadag and Sirsi of Uttara Kannada. Jan Shikshana Sansthan director S.Y. Arunadevi will inaugurate the event on January 17. Noted critic Rajendra Chenni, Department of Handloom and Textiles deputy director Shivalingappa N. Kumbar, and Charaka president Mahalakshmi will attend the event, said the release.
