The three accused who were nabbed by the State Task Force team in coordination with the Prohibition and Excise Department staff, in Lower Dhoolpet, Hyderabad. Three individuals were arrested and 1.412 kilograms of dry ganja was seized during a raid conducted by the State Task Force team in coordination with officials of the Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department in Dhoolpet. The raid was carried out following a tip-off about the illegal possession and sale of ganja from a residential premises at Imlibagh, Lower Dhoolpet. Police said a case has been registered against six persons in connection with the offence. Those arrested have been identified as Aarthi Bai, Goutam Singh alias Golu and Sabita Bai, all residents of Dhoolpet. Three others, identified as Aavish Singh, Sarika and Kailash Singh, are absconding, police said. Officials recovered the contraband which was being stored in the residence for sale. The seized ganja and mobile phones were taken into custody, and further investigation is under way to trace the absconding accused and identify the source of the narcotics.
