The Jubilee Hills police have arrested three persons in connection with a property dispute at road number 25 involving allegations of forgery, criminal conspiracy, trespass, wrongful confinement, grievous hurt, robbery and criminal intimidation. The case was registered on the complaint of one Ashish Kumar Ahuja, who stated that his father had purchased the property through a registered sale deed in July 2009 and had been in lawful possession since then. During investigation, police found that the first accused, despite having sold the property in 2009 and having no legal right over it, allegedly executed a gift deed in October 2025 in favour of another accused using fabricated documents, in criminal conspiracy with others. Those arrested are Polavarapu Sridevi, P. Nayanth and Paleti Sreenadh Reddy. Police said efforts were on to trace and arrest the remaining accused, including those who had allegedly benefited from the forged documents and participated in the conspiracy. Police said that on November 9, 2025, when the complainant and his associate visited the property after learning about fresh trespass, they were wrongfully confined, threatened and assaulted with iron rods and knives, resulting in grievous injuries. Their personal belongings were also allegedly robbed. As part of the investigation, police examined CCTV footage, technical evidence and land records obtained from the Sub-Registrar Office, Banjara Hills, and the Jubilee Hills Cooperative Housing Society. The evidence, police said, established forgery, conspiracy and the use of violence with the intention of forcibly dispossessing the lawful owner. Based on credible information and the material collected, the investigating officer arrested three accused on January 10 at about 8 a.m. in front of the disputed property, following due legal procedure. During interrogation, the accused admitted their involvement. Two mobile phones allegedly used in the of the offence were seized under a panchanama.
