Devotees performing fire walk at Sri Mariyamman temple at Natham in Dindigul district on Tuesday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Thousands of devotees on Tuesday took part in ‘pookuzhi’ festival as part of the annual Masi festival celebrations held at the Sri Mariamman Temple in Natham in Dindigul district. Devotees from villages in and around Natham and other parts of the district attended the festival in large numbers. The devotees, clad in yellow, carried fire pots and took out a holy procession to the temple. Special pujas were conducted at the temple.
