The Hindu In School Quiz finale to be held today

The Grand Finale of The Hindu In School Quiz presented by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) will be held on Wednesday in the city.

Building on the resounding success of last year’s edition, this marks the second consecutive year of partnership with Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) partnering with The Hindu In School to conduct a quiz programme exclusively for government school students.

Conducted under CPCL’s CSR initiative, as part of CPCL’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the programme continues to nurture young minds.

After reaching 10 government schools in its inaugural year, the initiative has expanded four-fold in 2026, covering 40 government schools.

The preliminary rounds were conducted across government schools in and around north Chennai. Nearly 8,000 students took part. From each school, the top three students were shortlisted for the Grand Finale.

In the Grand Finale, winners will be awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates. The shortlisted finalists will compete for top honours at CPCL Polytechnic College in Manali.
