To celebrate International Women’s Day, The Hindu Group will host ‘The Hindu Kolam Kondattam’, a rangoli competition for women aged above 18 at the at the A.Y.A. Sports and Family Club in Thanjavur on March 8. Participants will be required to create traditional patterns using white kolam powder. Contestants are required to bring their own kolam material. Use of colour powders will not be permitted.
