The Hindu Group signs MoU with RV Institute of Technology and Management in Bengaluru

The Hindu Group (acting through its division named STEP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RV Institute of Technology and Management in Bengaluru, governed by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), to organise STEP learning programmes for its students. The MoU was signed in the presence of college Principal Nagashettappa Biradar, Vice-Principal Manjunath Prasad, and Placement officer Mallanagouda Patil.

Quoting the motive, ‘Go Change the World’, Dr. Biradar emphasised carrying this vision forward by empowering students to enhance their communication and writing abilities.

The Standardized Test of English Proficiency(STEP) is an English language testing, training and certification programme, launched by The Hindu Group. STEP aims to make high quality English language learning economical and accessible to all by using advanced technology and world-class training practices. STEP’s tests and training programmes help students, institutions and employers access and improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. STEP’s learning programme – STEP Train – has been selected by AICTE and MHRD as part of the government’s National Education Alliance for Technology (NEAT 2.0) programme as the only English certification course on the platform.
