The image is used for representative purposes only. | Photo Credit: Handle @tg_governor on X The Budget Session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly concluded on Monday after 10 sittings held between March 16 and March 30, 2026, clocking a total of 82 hours and 6 minutes of proceedings. 590 questions received According to official statistics released by the Secretary to Legislature Assembly, a total of 590 questions were received from members. Of these, 505 were admitted as Starred Questions and 53 as Un-Starred Questions, while one was admitted as a Short Notice Question. During the session, 25 Starred Questions were answered orally on the floor of the House. Additionally, 68 answers relating to Starred Questions and 42 answers pertaining to Un-Starred questions were placed on the table of the House on March 30, 2026. Members raised 91 supplementary questions during discussions, reflecting active engagement in seeking clarifications from the government. As many as 125 speeches were delivered by members during various debates, while Ministers made 11 statements in the House. Three resolutions On the legislative front, the Assembly received 11 Bills during the session and passed 10 of them. One Bill was referred to a Select Committee for further examination. The House also adopted three Government resolutions. The Budget Session was marked by debates on key financial allocations, policy priorities, and governance issues concerning the State.
