The Southern India Science Fair (SISF) 2026, hosted by Department of School Education, Telangana, will be held in Sangareddy from January 19 till 23. The prestigious zonal-level annual academic event for students of classes IX and X and teachers from the six southern States and Union Territories is being held in collaboration with Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru. All the events of the fair will be held at The Gaudium School, Kollur, RC Puram in Sangareddy district, officials said. The registrations for the five-day programme will begin on Sunday (January 18). The fair being conducted through the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) was held in Telangana in 2018. The 2025 event was held in Puducherry. As per the plan, each State and Union Territory will present 35 exhibits, comprising 10 student group exhibits, 15 student individual exhibits and 10 teacher exhibits. A total of 210 exhibits will be displayed with 210 students and 210 teachers. According to officials, about 4,000 student visitors from nearby areas and schools would witness the mega event daily and adequate arrangements have been made.
