The BJP workers who tried to force their way inside the DGP office were prevented by police — who took the protesters away in a vehicle after taking them into custody. State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao, alleged that the primary reason for his death was “sustained intimidation and harassment by Congress goons’. He demanded a “proper” post-mortem examination to be conducted to ensure transparency. The State party president visited the grieving family members in Makthal on Tuesday, Union Minister for Coals and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, and MP K. Laxman from the State, raised the issue in the Parliament. (Roshini suicide prevention helpline number are: 8142020033/44 and 040 66202000/2001.)
