A quality improvement programme (QIP) monitoring committee meeting held on Monday decided to conduct training for government and aided school teachers in the State in the second fortnight of May. The meeting presided over by Additional Director of General Education Santhosh C.A. decided to conduct the training for lower and upper primary and high school teachers from May 16 to 30. The preparations for the training will begin at the end of this month with module preparation and State resource group training followed by district-level resource group training. Subsequently, district-level resource group will train over 1.5 lakh teachers in the State for a period of five days in May. However, uncertainty surrounds the conduct of the training owing to paucity of funds.
