Tamil University remembers its founder MGR

Floral tributes were paid to former Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran, founder of Tamil University, here on his birth anniversary on January 17.

According to a university release, the Tamil University staff, led by the Vice-Chancellor Convenor Committee member, P. Bharathajothi, and the Registrar (in-charge), G. Panneerselvam, garlanded the bust of M.G. Ramachandran installed on the university premises on Saturday and paid floral tributes to the founder of the university.
