The Cuddalore District Election Officer and Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar on Friday flagged off an election awareness rally held by differently-abled persons at the Collectorate. The rally was part of the Election Commission of India’s efforts to conduct awareness programmes to encourage maximum voter turnout for the Assembly elections in the State. The three-wheeler rally, which began from the Collectorate passed through important thoroughfares before concluding at the Town Hall in Cuddalore. The administration has urged first-time voters, who have turned 18 to register for voting and exercise their democratic right.
