The health department of the Tambaram Corporation has launched the second phase of digital enumeration of residents in 56 wards of the 70 wards to improve the delivery of health services. The Tambaram City Municipal Corporation, which was formed in November 2021 by merging five municipalities and five town panchayats, has more than 10 lakh residents spread across 88 square kilometres comprising five zones and 70 wards.
