The Regional Sports Centre, Kadavanthra, Kochi, will launch a fully funded training programme, Prathibha Scheme, to develop talents in badminton, tennis, table tennis, and swimming. As many as 24 trainees (three boys and three girls per discipline) will be identified through the upcoming summer coaching camp, which begins on April 1, 2026. The scheme, with an outlay of ₹3 crore, will run for three years. Registrations are currently open for the scheme, said a communication.
