Palaniswami on Sunday claimed that DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had been working with the intention of making his son Udhayanidhi the next Chief Minister, asserting that this would remain as just a daydream. Addressing the public at an election campaign organised at Aralvaimozhi in Kanniyakumari district, he said the DMK was definitely not going to win this time. “Stalin won’t be the Chief Minister, instead they are planning for Udhayanidhi to be appointed to the post,” he alleged. “The upcoming election is set to put an end to dynasty politics,” he remarked.
