Technology startup incubator T-Hub has entered into a partnership with the Tripura government’s Directorate of Information Technology to build a structured and long-term startup ecosystem in the north-eastern State. T-Hub will work with the Directorate, the nodal authority for technology-driven initiatives under the Tripura’s Industries and Commerce Department, to design and operationalise structured incubation frameworks. Support for the incubation centre and innovation park, development of detailed project reports (DPRs), acceleration programmes, mentor exchange initiatives, leadership workshops, startup showcases, and investor connect platforms figure in the list. The partnership was formalised during the official launch of Tripura’s new innovation and incubation initiatives at a function in Delhi. “The next chapter of India’s startup ecosystem growth will be shaped by how well we can build the regional ecosystems and tap the entrepreneurial talent across the country. Our partnership with Tripura is a testament to our commitment to building ecosystems that help founders from all regions compete at the global level,” T-Hub CEO Kavikrut said in a release. Through this collaboration with T-Hub, Tripura is positioning itself to emerge as a pioneering State and a model for innovation-led governance across the country, said Jeya Ragul Geshan B, Director (IT), Head, Startup Tripura.
