The QR code for downloading RailOne App of the Indian Railways for Android handsets. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Indian Railways has urged passengers to transition to RailOne App early, as UTSonMobile App will be decommissioned from March 1 in a phased manner. The existing IRCTC or UTS credentials could be used for signing into the RailOne app. By bringing booking, tracking, food services and grievance redressal under one roof, RailOne significantly reduces effort, saves time and enhances the overall passenger experience, Southern Railway stated. The existing R-Wallet balance of users on the UTS App would remain completely safe, and will be available for use on the RailOne app. Salient features Passengers may book reserved, unreserved and platform tickets effortlessly using a single app. The booking process would be simple and secure, with multiple payment options including UPI, debit and credit cards, R-wallet and net banking. Live train running status, delays and updated arrival and departure timings, real-time coach position and platform information would be available. Passengers can track PNR status, manage cancellations and monitor refund status — all in one place. RailOne enables passengers to order food directly to their seats from IRCTC-approved vendors. Complaints, feedback and service requests can be lodged easily through integrated RailMadad support.
