Swift police action saves assault victim, reunites elderly woman with family

In two separate incidents, swift action by the Bengaluru city police helped rescue an injured assault victim and reunite a distressed elderly woman with her family. In both cases, the police were tipped off by citizens through the Namma 112 emergency response system.

In the early hours of Saturday (March 21), a 32-year-old man was brutally assaulted by unidentified persons using iron rods at Talacauvery Layout under the Amrutahalli Police Station limits. The incident occurred around 4.36 a.m., leaving the victim with serious injuries and bleeding profusely.
