In a move to ease the heavy rush of passengers during the summer season, the South Western Railway has announced the operation of special express trains between Mysuru and Dibrugarh. The service will run two trips in each direction.

According to a press release, Train No. 06253 (Mysuru–Dibrugarh Express) will depart from Mysuru on April 12 and 26 (Sundays) at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to reach Dibrugarh on Wednesdays at 1.30 a.m.
