The second day of “Selesta 2K26 – Fest of Fun” on Friday (March 13, 2026), the national-level youth festival hosted by Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering & Technology (SVCET), presented a blend of cultural programmes along with inspiring messages of leadership and motivation. Addressing the students, Prof. B. Durga Prasad, Director, Academic Audit, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (Ananthapuram), who was the chief guest, underlined the importance of discipline, dedication, and civic responsibility. He encouraged the students to focus on inculcating a competitive spirit to face the challenges in their academic and personal lives with confidence. Teams from Maharashtra, Assam, Kerala, Karnataka, and Telangana presented a series of cultural events, including dance performances, folk culture, and contemporary hip-hop and social concepts. Meanwhile, film actor and model Divyabharathi and the team of the Telugu film “Terachepa” attended the evening session and interacted with the students. SVCET Principal M. Mohan Babu welcomed the gathering and congratulated the participants.
