Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, said that all eligible beneficiaries will receive welfare schemes under the NDA government. She said the State government has prioritised women’s empowerment and aims to make the State drought-free.

Ms. Bhuvaneswari on Tuesday visited Metlachenu, Paipalyam, and other villages in Kuppam, the constituency represented by Mr. Naidu, and interacted with women and students. Addressing a gathering, Ms. Bhuvaneswari said that the establishment of a significant number of industries in Kuppam is providing job and livelihood opportunities to the people of the constituency. She mentioned that steps are being taken to extend welfare schemes to all eligible beneficiaries and to ensure that the fruits of development reach the people.

Ms. Bhuvaneswari said that 17 industries have been established with an investment of ₹7,121 crore in Kuppal, and that the Adidas shoe company is also setting up its unit in the constituency. She said the State government has brought the Handri-Neeva waters to Kuppam and provided a solution to the water problems in the constituency.

While interacting with the girl students, she said that children should be kept away from mobile phones and urged them to be disciplined and to respect their parents. She also highlighted the importance of joint families and how the concept of joint families is slowly getting diluted.
