State government prioritising farm mechanisation: MP Chamala

Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy emphasised that the State government is prioritizing farm mechanization to enhance farmers’ income stating that modern machinery will help reduce expenses and increase yields. He was the chief guest at the distribution of agricultural machinery and tools under the government’s farm mechanization scheme at Alair market yard on Monday. The event showcased modern farm equipment provided to farmers at subsidized rates, aimed at reducing cultivation costs and improving productivity.

According to official figures, 316 units have been sanctioned under the scheme. Of these, 177 implements have been grounded. Alair MLA Beerla Ilaiah, agriculture department officials and others attended the programme.
