St. Joseph’s Church organises blood donation camp

Residents of the city participated in a blood donation drive by the St. Joseph’s Church, Susaipuram, Nungambakkam, organised in association with the Government Royapettah Hospital on Palm Sunday.

Thousand Lights MLA Ezhilan Naganathan and Geo Patrick, Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, participated in the drive and sensitised residents about blood donation. “As many as 170 residents visited the church to donate blood and 70 were successful donors. It is a true celebration of the Parish’s Lenten offering to God. Let us donate little of our blood to Jesus, disguised in life threatening critical situations,” said Fr. Geo Patrick.
