Participants at the inaugural event of the ‘Centre of Excellence for Comprehensive Cleft and Craniofacial Care’ at SRIHER on Monday. | Photo Credit: Special arrangement A dedicated ‘Centre of Excellence for Comprehensive Cleft and Craniofacial Care’ was inaugurated by Dushyant Prasad, executive director, Akhila Bharatha Mahila Seva Samaja, at Sri Ramachandra institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) on Monday (February 16, 2026). The Centre offers advanced and holistic treatment for patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and complex craniofacial conditions. Naveen Kumar, director, Sri Ramachandra Comprehensive Cleft and Craniofacial Care Centre, said this centre had been providing advanced treatment free of cost to the patients with cleft lip, palate, and craniofacial anomalies for more than two decades, and over 20,000 patients have been benefited until now.
