Revanth Reddy has asserted that the Telangana Government is firm on ensuring that the schemes launched by the Government do not remain as mere entries on paper, but “bring about a tangible and distinct transformation in the lives of the people”. The Government had accordingly launched the 99-day Prajapati Palana – Pragati Pranalika from March 6 to reach out to people, said Mr. Reddy, noting that it was launched with the coordination of all Government departments extended from the village to the State level. Every government official is tasked to work with the objective of resolving the issues facing at the local level in every village and take up swift clearance of files, cleanliness in all government offices and transparency in all decision-making processes, the Chief Minister said in a public message. As part of the programme, Grama Sabhas were being held across the State on Thursday (April 2, 2026). Mr. Reddy recalled that it was two years and three months since the people’s government assumed office and was striving hard without compromise in the development and welfare of all sections of people by overcoming financial challenges and rectifying the errors of the previous government. Guided by the ethos that “we are not rulers, but servants,” the Government was striving with the objective of fulfilling the aspirations of the people. Mr. Reddy said that utmost priority was accorded to the welfare of people, social responsibility and the future of the State in every decision taken by the government. He claimed that consecutive victories in by-elections, panchayat elections and Municipal elections were a testament to the people’s approval and support for the Government’s performance. “People’s mandate deepened our sense of responsibility,” he said. The benefits of the Mahalakshmi scheme like free bus travel, gas cylinders for just ₹500, up to 200 units of free electricity, Aarogyasri, ration cards, fine rice, Indiramma housing and women’s empowerment programme, should reach all eligible beneficiaries, said Mr. Reddy. He added that the State Government’s resolve was to place Telangana, the youngest State, as the number one State globally, not merely in economic terms, but across all sectors. People should become partners in fulfilling the government’s resolve, and the State should emerge as a global benchmark in services, manufacturing and agricultural sectors as envisaged in the CURE, PURE, and RARE framework, he said. “This 99-day action plan is a solemn pledge and four crore people of Telangana must unite as one to emerge as a shining example for both the nation and the world,” he said.
