Former international badminton player P. Manoj Kumar emphasised the transformative power of sports in shaping personality and strengthening life skills, while addressing students at the 37th annual sports day celebrations of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (KITSW) on Tuesday. KITSW principal Prof. K. Ashoka Reddy highlighted the institution’s continued emphasis on holistic student development. Former MLA and KITSW additional secretary Vodithala Satish Kumar encouraged students to uphold emotional balance, spiritual values, discipline, and good conduct. During the 2025-2026 academic year, more than 40 sports and games were conducted. A total of 12 trophies and over 500 medals were awarded to the winners across various categories, along with an additional 50 medals for special sports events.
