The valedictory ceremony of the Specialised Training Programme in Cancer Care for BIMSTEC Countries was successfully held at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCHRC), Visakhapatnam, here, according to a release here on Saturday (January 31, 2026). During the four-week onsite training programme, international capacity-building initiative was discussed by the participants. The programme was initiated, following the announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) with support from the Ministry of External Affairs. The training programme brought together participants from five BIMSTEC countries—Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
