Southern Railway will operate unreserved MEMU special trains from Villupuram to Nagapattinam via Thirunallar and back in connection with the Sani Peyarchi festival on March 6. The trains will be operated on March 6 and 7. The Villupuram-Nagapattinam MEMU special (06133) will leave Villupuram Junction at 9.10 a.m. and reach Nagapattinam Junction at 1.05 p.m. The Nagapattinam-Villupuram MEMU special (06134) will leave Nagapattinam Junction at 1.20 p.m. and reach Villupuram Junction at 5.30 p.m. The trains will halt at Panruti, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Cuddalore Port Junction, Parangipettai, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Vaithisvarankoil, Mayiladuthurai Junction, Peralam Junction, Thirunallar, Karaikal, and Nagore, a press release from the Tiruchi Railway Division said. The above train service is the extension of the Puducherry-Villupuram MEMU train (66064) for two days. Passengers can buy a direct ticket from Puducherry to Nagapattinam, the release said.
