The Special Enforcement Squad in charge of three southern districts seized more than 600 LPG cylinders from a location near Attingal in the district, the Civil Supplies Department said on Saturday. According to an official statement, the cylinders were stored without proper authorisation. The raid was conducted as part of an enforcement drive aimed at curbing black-marketeering and hoarding of LPG cylinders amid the current shortage.
