A Special District Revenue Officer has been appointed for Tiruchi district to sort out issues in registration of pattas issued under the Tamil Nadu Minor Inams (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act, 1963. Following receipt of representations from the ppublic over problems in registration of ryotwari pattas, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had ordered the creation of the posts of two Special DROs to conduct inquiries and sort out the problem. Accordingly, the two posts have been created in Tiruchi and Tiruppur districts. R. Ramesh has been posted as Special DRO (Verification of Records) for Tiruchi district while A. Mayil has been appointed in the post for Tiruppur district, according to an official press release.
