A wordy quarrel between the father and son led to the son, Chakravarathy (32) murdering his father K. Manoharan (55) at Thummakundu near Sinthupatti on Tuesday. The police said that an ill-feeling existed between the duo over property dispute. When Manoharan was in his farmland, the accused came there and picked a quarrel. When the father tried to attack him with a machete, the son attacked him with it and murdered him. Sinthupatti police have arrested the accused.
