: Suburban train services were briefly affected on Saturday evening after a snapped internet cable fell onto the railway’s overhead power lines between Guindy and Saidapet in Chennai. Railway staff from Southern Railway removed the cable and inspected the Overhead Equipment (OHE) — the electrified system that powers trains — before restoring services. No damage or injuries were reported, though trains were delayed during the clearance work for about 30 minutes and the line was quickly restored, said a spokesperson of Southern Railway.
