Smooth start to SSLC exam in Raichur

SSLC examination got off to a smooth beginning in Raichur district on Wednesday.

A total of 30,958 students registered for the examination and of them, 30,295 appeared for it in 101 examination centres across the district. As many as 663 students remained absent on day one of the examination.

According to sources, the exam was smooth, fair and transparent and no malpractices were reported.

The taluk-wise details of students who enrolled, present and absent are as follows: Deodurg total students 4,111 and of them, 4,033 appeared for it and 78 remained absent. In Lingsugur it was 6,255 (6,142 and 113), Manvi 5,583 (5,413 and 170), Raichur 9,325 (9,110 and 215) and Sindhanur it was 5,684 (5,597 and 87).
