Six persons were injured when a lorry carrying machinery and iron materials from Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation tea factory in Nalumukku overturned and fell into a 400-foot gorge along Manjolai-Kakkachi hill road on Sunday. According to police, the driver of the vehicle was Sasi Kumar, 50 from Palakkad and the other occupants were Abdul Khader, 56, and Mohammed, 58, from Coimbatore, Subramani, 43, from Nalumukku, Madasamy, 42, from Kallidaikurichi and Sankaranarayanan, 35, from V.K. Puram.
