The Telangana Medical Council conducted inspections in the Miryalaguda on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, and arrested ophthalmic technicians who were found performing surgeries and diagnostic procedures in the absence of qualified specialists. Those arrested were Bhanavathu Siva Koteswararao, 36, of Yasaswi Eye Hospital; Gaddam Nagaraju, 46, of Shalini Eye Hospital; Valki Srinu, 48, of Rapha Vision Care Center; Pammi Venkatesh, 29, of Annapuran Netralayam; and Pajjuri Vikas Kumar, 37, of Sri Mahalxmi Vision Care Center.
