Superintendent of Police V. Prassannakumar has placed under suspension a Sub-Inspector of Police and a constable for allegedly threatening a quarry owner who refused to give them 110 tonnes of M-sand for free. According to quarry owner Sundararajan, Thazhaiyoothu SI Ramanathan and constable Balasubramanian, who came to his quarry a few days ago, demanded 110 tonnes of M-sand for free. However, he refused to give them the mineral free of cost.
