Nirmala Panicker | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Mohiniyattam teacher and researcher Nirmala Panicker has been selected for the Shatkala Govinda Marar Puraskaram for 2025. The award will be presented by the Minister for Higher Education R. Bindu at Natanakairali, Irinjalakida, on Sunday. The award consists of cash of ₹25,000, a citation and specially designed memento. The Mohiniyattam troupe of Shatkala Govinda Marar Kala Samiti will stage a dance tribute to the awardee after the function.
