M. Shankar Babu assumed charge as Secretary of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority on Friday. Prior to his posting in Visakhapatnam, he served as Secretary of the Mormugao Port Authority in Goa. He has been transferred and appointed as Secretary of the Visakhapatnam Port Authority by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. Soon after assuming charge, Mr. Shankar Babu paid a courtesy call on VPA Deputy Chairperson Roshni Aparanji Korati. Heads of departments, senior officials and employees of the Port Authority welcomed him.
