The Krishna police booked seven organisers of a roosterfight arena at Uppuluru for allegedly attacking 11 cashiers, accusing them of theft. The accused tied up the victims and beat them up, alleging that they stole money from the arena. According to the Kankipadu police, the organisers had hired the youth from Thotlavallur village for collection of cash at the arena. “A case under the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been registered against the accused,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police (Gannavaram) Ch.
