RAGU Special Observer of the Election Commission (EC) for Tamil Nadu Assembly Election Prathap Singh on Monday said the election officials had taken significant action to ensure inducement-free elections and seized ₹300 crore worth of cash, liquor, among others so far. Mr. Singh said, “Already we have taken a lot of action. So as of today, the seizure position, cash, liquor, goodies, and all those kind of stuff is over ₹300 crore. So we have hardly started the election process.
