MOORTHY Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) coordinator Seeman on Saturday advocated the abolition of freebies while assuring the voters that his government would provide essential services such as education, healthcare, and drinking water free of cost. Addressing a campaign meeting at Marakkadai in Tiruchi, he said governance should prioritise fundamental needs over “vote-seeking incentives.” “We will not distribute freebies. Instead, we will ensure that basic amenities reach every household,” he said.
