The situation prompted the police to enhance security measures outside gas agencies to prevent untoward incidents involving distribution of LPG cylinders. DCP (East) Rajeev Kumar, along with several other senior officers, held a meeting with LPG distributors and urged them to prevent black marketing or rumour-mongering and that law and order is maintained in the area.
