SAAP chairman condemns alleged attack on B.R. Naidu’s family in Tirupati

The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) chairman Ravi Naidu on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) condemned the alleged attack on the family of TTD chairman B.R. Naidu in Tirupati, calling it a “heinous and barbaric act.”

Speaking at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, he alleged that the attack was pre-planned by YSRCP leaders, with rowdy elements mobilised and instigated before targeting the family with stones and sticks. He said police acted promptly to ensure their safety.

Mr. Ravi Naidu urged the DGP to arrest those involved and identify the masterminds, holding Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy responsible for the situation.

He also criticised protests by YSRCP leaders, alleging obstruction of 108 ambulance services and inconvenience to Class 10 students due to road blockades. He accused certain leaders of creating unrest in Tirupati and demanded strict action against those involved.
