Russia is in constant dialogue with Cuba’s leadership and is discussing possible options for providing aid, the state-run TASS news agency reported on Thursday (March 19, 2026), citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. The comments followed a report by the Financial Times on Wednesday (March 18, 2026) that two tankers carrying gas and oil were expected to arrive in Cuba next Monday and in early April, respectively.
