RPF Tiruchi Division launches AI-powered Duty Assist app to enhance passenger security

The Railway Protection Force (RPF), Tiruchi Division, has launched AI-powered RPF Duty Assist App to enhance passenger security.  The Duty Assist App — a first-of-its-kind AI- driven operational platform — was introduced on a trial basis on Sunday for the RPF personnel at the Tiruchi Railway Junction. 

The system would help RPF personnel anticipate and respond to security threats in real time enabling preventive action rather than reactive response. The App works on a simple idea — providing the right information to RPF personnel at the right time.
