As the strike entered its second day, government services across the districts were severely disrupted. The Federation of Revenue Department Associations (FERA) has been conducting various protests to press for a 9-point charter of demands, including the enactment of a Special Job Protection Act for the Revenue Department. The federation began an indefinite strike on Monday.
