Ward 191 resident Sowmya of Jalladianpet said residents have complained about repeated dog bite incidents in her neighbourhood. “Another dog bite incident occurred yesterday in our area. A pedestrian was bitten by a stray dog and had to be taken to the hospital. Although we could not identify the individual or trace the dog, immediate help from local residents ensured that the situation was handled promptly. This is not an isolated occurrence, and the repeated nature of such incidents is causing serious concern among residents,” she said.
