The instructions were issued by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner, R.V. Karnan, when he conducted a surprise inspection to review sanitation and infrastructure at the park on Monday (March 9, 2026), as part of the government’s ‘Praja Palana – Pragathiki Pranalika’ 99-day action plan. The Commissioner emphasized on the need to improve the park’s upkeep. Zonal Commissioner Mangathayaru, Kavadiguda Deputy Commissioner Pushpalatha, and officials from the Urban Biodiversity (UBD) and Solid Waste Management (SWM) wings were present during the inspection.
